Anderson's amazing music teacher Ms. Colleen Semones is on a mission to make instruments more accessible for all her students. Recently, Ms. Semones wrote a grant for an National Education Association Foundation Student Success Grant in hopes of adding more instruments to her classroom.
On November 15, Ms. Semones was notified that she has been awarded a $5,000 grant. This grant will be used to purchase a whole classroom set of World Music Drumming instruments. Way to go, Ms. Semones!
